A Fresh Start: Personal update, apologies, and what to expect this year.
I am due for an apology for it has been almost two years since my last post, and I did not keep my promise I made back then. So, I’ll get this straight, I am sorry.
The truth is, life got busy. Between personal stuff, study, and diving mindlessly into indie-hacking, writing took a back seat. I’ve spent the last couple of years building things, learning a lot (mostly the hard way), and losing a lot of time perfecting stuff without even validating. But in hindsight, I wish I had taken you along on that journey.
To those following my simple blockchain series, I want to address the obvious question i.e. Why didn’t I finish it? Honestly, the last part felt too simple to write out if you’d followed the first three, and I figured the engagement on the series took a nosedive. In retrospect, I realize I should’ve concluded it anyway. Now I know not to follow the stats mindlessly and stick to doing the job.
That being said, I missed writing. It has always been a way for me to express myself and explore new topics. Now I want to get back to it — writing about random stuffs and breaking down concepts. So, as my New Year’s resolution for 2025: I commit to post twice a week starting next week. I’ll be sharing my lessons learned or what I’m exploring in the simplest way I can. Occasionally I may sprinkle some random things here and there to maintain the streak.
